ORANGE — A 70-year-old man reported missing last week was found deceased Sunday morning.
Jonathan Brauch of Orange was located on Eastman Road at approximately 11:38 a.m. on Sept. 22.
A detective with the Vermont State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to conduct a death investigation.
The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
The initial investigation does not indicate the death is suspicious.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks were notified that Brauch was missing on Sept. 20 at approximately 3:19 p.m.
He was last seen at his home on Eastman Road and had left on foot.
The Vermont State Police were assisted by the Vermont State Police Search and Rescue Team and North County Search Dogs.
