BATH — A 9-year-old student was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street Monday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Richardson Street and High Street at approximately 8:15 a.m.
Police said the child was in a crosswalk when he was hit by a Jeep Wrangler turning left from High Street onto Richardson Street.
The driver is identified as a 32-year-old Bath woman.
The boy was transported to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation by the Bath Police Department.
