JOHNSTON — A Rhode Island man was arrested Friday on child pornography charges.
Members of the Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force took Stephen Silva, 30, into custody.
Silva was charged with possession of child pornography.
He was processed at State Police Headquarters.
Silva was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Dawson and released on $1,000 personal recognizance.
His re-arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 22.
