MIDDLESEX — A Canandaigua man was arrested Saturday morning after a single-vehicle crash in Yates County.
Deputies responded to Route 245 shortly after 6 a.m. following a report of the accident.
James R. Bell, 25, was identified as the driver.
An investigation revealed Bell’s driver’s license was revoked due to prior driving while intoxicated convictions.
Bell was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated with two prior convictions, driving without an interlock device, possessing an open container, moving from a lane unsafely and failing to notify the DMV of an address change.
He was held at the Yates County Jail to await central arraignment.
Additional charges are pending further investigation.
