Motorcyclist hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after Hooksett crash

HOOKSETT — A local man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Hooksett Road Friday morning.

The Hooksett Police Department responded to the crash near the Nouria Gas Station at 1560 Hooksett Rd. at approximately 8:57 a.m. on September 19.

Officers identified the involved vehicle as a blue and black 2005 Suzuki GSX 750.

The operator was Thomas Darcy, 33, of Hooksett.

Police said Darcy was traveling southbound when he lost control, left the roadway, and collided with a telephone pole.

He was transported by Hooksett Fire and EMS to a local hospital with serious injuries and was listed in critical but stable condition.

Hooksett Road remained open with an altered traffic pattern during the investigation by the department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit.

The crash remains under investigation, with speed believed to be a factor.
