MILFORD — A 66-year-old man was airlifted to a Worcester hospital Thursday night after being struck by a pickup truck near the Milford Highway Department.
The Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a 911 call at approximately 8:07 p.m. from a male driver reporting he had struck a pedestrian with his vehicle near 30 Front St.
Responders found the victim beneath the front end of a Ford F-250 pickup truck.
The victim was transported by Community Ambulance to Milford Regional Medical Center before being airlifted to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester by Lifeflight.
The incident remains under investigation by the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council Accident Reconstruction Unit.
