HULL — Hull Police arrested a 41-year-old Braintree man Thursday on drug trafficking and weapon charges following an investigation that led to the seizure of multiple narcotics and weapons.
Timothy M. Lesslie was charged with trafficking in 18 grams or more of heroin, possession with intent to distribute a Class B drug, possession of a Class B drug (two counts), possession of a Class C drug and carrying a dangerous weapon (two counts).
At about 1:47 p.m. Thursday, Hull Police detectives conducted surveillance in connection with an ongoing drug investigation for which they had obtained a search warrant from Hingham District Court.
Officers and detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop of a gray 2019 Subaru Impreza on Hull Shore Drive following the surveillance.
Lesslie, identified as the driver, was taken into custody without incident while police investigated and executed the search warrant on the car.
During a search of the vehicle, detectives found a green gym-style bag in the trunk that was secured with a combination lock and contained multiple compartments and a case.
Inside the case, detectives found what appeared to be illegal narcotics packaged in a manner consistent with street-level distribution.
Hull Police detectives found multiple clear plastic baggies containing heroin, additional baggies containing crack cocaine and one bag containing hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Police seized 18 grams of heroin, 12 grams of cocaine, 6 grams of mushrooms, 3 grams of methamphetamine and 1 gram of Adderall during the investigation.
A further search of the vehicle yielded a pair of brass knuckles and a green stun gun, as well as other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Lesslie was booked at the Hull Police station and held at the Plymouth County Correctional Facility on $40,000 bail pending his arraignment Friday in Hingham District Court.
