NAUGATUCK — A two-car motor vehicle collision near Fulling Mills Deli resulted in one vehicle catching fire on Sept. 18 at approximately 9:45 p.m.
Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals for evaluation.
Naugatuck Police Department, Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene.
Prospect Street was closed between Union Street and Picture Lane for roughly two hours while emergency crews worked and the Connecticut Department of Transportation sanded the roadway.
The roadway has since been reopened.
