WARWICK — The ACI Investigations Unit charged Jonathan Leamy, 39, of 215 Tiffany Avenue, with simple assault on Sept. 18.
Leamy was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was granted surety bail and remanded to the ACI.
In a separate case, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Gaetano Faraone, 35, of 69 West Blue Ridge Road, Cranston, for possession of child pornography on Sept. 18.
Faraone was transported to State Police Headquarters for processing and then to Third District Court.
Faraone was arraigned by Magistrate Ippolito, who issued $1,000 personal recognizance bail with special conditions of no unsupervised contact with minors and restricted internet access.
The ACI Investigations Unit also arrested Cathy Dandrea, 55, of 208 Skunk Hill Road, Hope Valley, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for obtaining money under false pretenses over $10,000 on Sept. 18.
Dandrea was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released on $5,000 personal recognizance.
