SCITUATE — Rhode Island State Police made three arrests on outstanding warrants Tuesday afternoon.
At 1:50 p.m., troopers arrested Raul Jimenez, 38, of Providence, on a Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment.
The original charge was driving with an expired license, fourth or subsequent offense, originating from the North Providence Police Department.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in Providence.
Jimenez was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute Men’s Intake Center.
At 3 p.m., troopers arrested Mohamed Hussein, 62, of Pawtucket, on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Scituate Barracks.
Hussein was charged with two counts of obtaining property under false pretenses/personation exceeding $10,000.
The arrest resulted from a barracks investigation by Trooper Hawkins and East Providence Police locating the subject.
Hussein was transported from East Providence Police to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
He was released with a future court date.
At 3:30 p.m., troopers arrested Jason Carrio, 51, of Woonsocket, on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Woonsocket Police Department.
Carrio was charged with disorderly conduct.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Diamond Hill Road in Woonsocket.
Carrio was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the ACI Men’s Intake Center.
