JAMESTOWN — Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon conducted a traffic stop in the area of West 7th Street and Cherry Street at approximately 12:40 p.m. Sept. 18.
During the investigation, they identified the front passenger, Candy W. McBride, as having active arrest warrants out of the City of Jamestown.
The warrants were for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (loaded firearm), Reckless Endangerment 2nd, and Discharging a Weapon within the city limits.
McBride was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
He was arraigned and released by court under the supervision of probation.
The warrants for McBride were issued as a result of an incident on Sept. 14 at 2 a.m.
