MANCHESTER — Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 27-year-old woman in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian.
Officers responded to the Taco Bell at 1050 Second Street at approximately 6:40 p.m. Sept. 17 for a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian.
A 60-year-old woman was found in the parking lot with life-threatening injuries.
The woman was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
Police say the investigation revealed the driver fled the scene after striking the pedestrian.
Investigators identified the driver as Maria Camila Posada Canizales of Manchester.
A warrant was issued for her arrest on a charge of conduct after an accident — felony.
Police say no photo of Posada Canizales is available.
