WESTON — Vermont State Police have arrested a West Rutland man in connection with a home improvement fraud investigation.
Joshua N. Morgan, 38, was cited Sept. 16 on a charge of home improvement fraud, a violation of Title 13 V.S.A. 2029.
Troopers from the Westminster Barracks received a complaint Aug. 20 from Andrew P. Harper, 76, of Weston, who reported paying Morgan for a home repair project that was never completed.
The investigation revealed that Morgan accepted payment for the work but failed to provide any services or materials.
Morgan is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor County Criminal Division on Oct. 28 to answer to the charge.
