WEARE — A Weare man has been charged with five felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images following a lengthy investigation.
The Weare Police Department was assisted by the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force team, Concord Police, Bedford Police, Pittsfield Police, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office and the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office.
Destefano is charged with five counts of possession of child sexual abuse images, all Class A felonies.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation and additional charges may be forthcoming.
Destefano is being held at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections on preventive detention.
An arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 17 at the 9th Circuit Goffstown District Court.
