Hoosick Falls man arrested on warrant at Shaftsbury barracks

SHAFTSBURY — A 51-year-old Hoosick Falls man was arrested on an outstanding warrant Monday at the Shaftsbury State Police Barracks.

Jason A. Gardner appeared at the barracks at 12:24 p.m. for an unrelated matter, according to police.

During the course of his visit, Gardner was found to have an active arrest warrant for failing to appear on charges of DUI #3 and driving with a suspended license.

Gardner was taken into custody and later transported to the Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division for arraignment.
