Boston police seek woman in credit card fraud at gym

BOSTON — Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a woman involved in a credit card fraud incident at a downtown fitness center.

The incident occurred between 1:30 p.m. and 2:10 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, at Planet Fitness located at 17 Winter Street, according to Boston Police Department officials.

The suspect reportedly made several attempted purchases with the victim’s credit cards the following day between 2:14 p.m. and 2:40 p.m. on Newbury Street.

District A-1 detectives are actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
