FALL RIVER — Marlene Jubah, a 59-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease who went missing Tuesday evening, has been safely located and is in good health, police said.

The Fall River Police Department announced Wednesday that Jubah had been found after seeking public assistance in locating her.

Jubah was last seen around 6 p.m. Tuesday leaving her home on the 600 block of Robeson Street.

She was observed on a neighbor’s security camera heading south on Robeson Street wearing a green cardigan sweater, dark-colored sweatpants, and was barefoot while carrying a makeshift bag with clothes inside.

Police described Jubah as 5 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with dark skin and brown eyes.

The department thanked community members who shared information and called in tips during the search.
