Enosburgh woman arrested on warrant during unrelated investigation

ENOSBURGH — A 28-year-old woman was arrested on an active warrant while troopers were investigating an unrelated incident on Main Street on Sept. 14.

Vermont State Police from the St. Albans Barracks made contact with Cheyenne Bishop of Enosburgh at approximately 10:54 a.m.

Bishop was found to have an active arrest warrant for failure to appear.

She was arrested and transported to Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility without incident.

The active warrant contained a charge of misdemeanor retail theft in excess of $250 but less than $900 for a first offense.

Bishop was lodged and issued a citation to appear before the court at 1 p.m. the next business day per court order.
