Berkshire man arrested on domestic assault, DUI charges

BERKSHIRE — Vermont State Police arrested a 30-year-old man on multiple charges including domestic assault and DUI following a family disturbance Sept. 13.

Dakota Rockwell of Berkshire was taken into custody after police responded to a family fight at 11:19 p.m.

Investigation revealed that Rockwell had assaulted several family members before leaving the area prior to police arrival.

Rockwell was later located and taken into custody without incident.

He faces charges of domestic assault, criminal threatening, driving with a suspended license and DUI second offense.

Rockwell was processed at the St. Albans Barracks and lodged at the Northwest State Correctional Facility on $500 bail.

He is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on Monday, Sept. 15 at 1 p.m.
