JAMESTOWN — Four people were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on the north side of the city Thursday night.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon conducted the traffic stop around 11:24 p.m. Sept. 12.
Police discovered the vehicle’s occupants were in possession of 31.2 grams of Tramadol and packaging material.
The occupants were identified as Jaleel K. Tibby, Trayvon K. Briscoe, Kiara D.M Smith Villa and Alyssa M. Lamper.
Tibby attempted to flee the scene while being taken into custody but was quickly apprehended by officers.
Smith Villa was found to be in possession of 9.1 grams of methamphetamine, 4 grams of fentanyl, a digital scale and an unknown cutting agent.
Tibby was also found to be in possession of 12.2 grams of Xylazine.
All four were transported to the Jamestown City Jail where they were held pending arraignment.
All were charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
Tibby was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest.
Smith Villa was charged with an additional count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th, and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
Lamper was charged with an additional count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th after being found in possession of two suboxone strips without a prescription.
