ENFIELD — The Enfield Police Department Traffic Division is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred Friday.
The crash occurred on North Main Street just west of Route 5.
The operator of the lawn mower, identified as Jamie Nickerson, was transported from the scene by Enfield EMS to Baystate Medical Center with serious life threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased hours later.
The operator of the Honda Accord, identified as Alexander Torres, was also transported from the scene by East Windsor EMS to St. Francis Hospital with suspected serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Enfield Police Department Traffic Division with assistance from the Metro Traffic Regional Reconstruction Team.
