JAMESTOWN — Members of the Jamestown Police Department responded to an address on West Fourth Street for a suspicious situation at about 4:54 a.m. Sept. 12.
As of noon, the Jamestown Police Department is still investigating the homicide, and the suspect is currently detained.
Further information will be released when possible.
There is no known, specific, elevated risk to the public at this time.
The Jamestown Police Department is being assisted by the Chautauqua County District Attorney’s Office, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Chautauqua County Forensic Investigation Team, New York State Police, Ellicott Police Department, and Chautauqua County Coroner’s Office.
