Missing 82-year-old Roslindale man found safe, Boston police say

BOSTON — An 82-year-old Roslindale man who had been missing since Thursday morning has been located, Boston police said.

Police had been searching for Richard McCusker, who was last seen at approximately 9 a.m. Sept. 11 at his residence at 16 Ashfield Street in Roslindale.

McCusker suffers from dementia and had made statements about needing to go to work at the Alewife Station, police said.

He was wearing a blue winter hat with a “T” emblem, a long-sleeve gray shirt and khaki pants when he disappeared.

McCusker is a former MBTA employee.

Police canceled the missing person alert after he was found.
