CHARLESTOWN — Two Charlestown residents were arrested Sept. 9 and 10 in connection with a multi-state investigation involving home invasions, armed robbery and drug distribution.
Ralph “Skipper” Davis II, 53, and Jessica Tewksbury, 40, were apprehended by Charlestown Police officers on Great Country Road at approximately 4:20 p.m. Sept. 9.
Davis was wanted by the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department in Vermont for multiple charges including kidnapping, aggravated assault, burglary of an occupied dwelling, persons prohibited from possessing firearms, and assault and robbery.
Tewksbury was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance.
The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation into multiple home invasions, armed robbery and the distribution of crack cocaine.
On Sept. 10 at approximately 1 p.m., law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at 149 Great Country Road in Charlestown.
During the search, investigators discovered evidence of manufacturing and distribution of crack cocaine, sale of fentanyl and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.
Additional charges are expected from both New Hampshire and Vermont jurisdictions.
The investigation involved multiple agencies including the Charlestown Police Department, Windsor County Sheriff’s Department, New Hampshire State Police, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department, Claremont Police Department, Windsor Police Department, Springfield Police Department, Rutland City Police Department and Vermont State Police.
Davis is being held without bail at the Sullivan County House of Corrections pending possible extradition to Vermont.
Tewksbury was released on personal recognizance bail.
Davis appeared in Sullivan County court Sept. 10 at 1 p.m.
