3 injured in 2-vehicle crash in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Hospital Drive near Old Center Road.

Vermont State Police said the crash occurred at approximately 1:26 p.m. when a 2013 Ford Fusion operated by Dezeray Marsh, 20, of Brownington, was entering Hospital Drive from Old Center Road and collided with a 2023 Volvo XC60 traveling on Hospital Drive.

The Volvo was operated by Richard Blohm, 82, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, with passenger Florence Blohm, 78, also of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

All three occupants sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury.

Vermont State Police, CALEX Ambulance and St. Johnsbury Fire Department responded to the crash.

The road was closed for approximately two hours while emergency personnel treated the occupants and state troopers investigated.

The investigation is ongoing.
