Randolph man arrested on drug DUI charge after I-89 crash

RANDOLPH — A 47-year-old Randolph man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 North at Exit 4 on Sept. 10.

Christopher White was taken into custody at 4:24 p.m. after Vermont State Police troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to the crash on the exit ramp.

Troopers observed signs of impairment while speaking with White at the scene.

Following an investigation, White was arrested and transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing.

White was later released with a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Nov. 26 at 8:30 a.m.

The Vermont State Police were assisted by the Randolph Police and Fire Departments.
