ELMIRA — Two people were arrested Monday on separate charges, according to Sheriff William A. Schrom.
David L. Harding, 36, of Elmira was arrested on an active arrest warrant for failure to appear on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.
The warrant was issued by Southport Town Court on Aug. 11.
Harding was arraigned by Southport Town Court and released.
Aaliyah E. Ford, 25, of Elmira was arrested for harassment in the 2nd degree, a violation, following an incident at the Chemung County Jail.
Ford was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Elmira City Court at a later date.
