HOLYOKE — Holyoke police officers seized cocaine, heroin/fentanyl and more than $500 in cash during a quality-of-life property check Saturday morning.
Around 4:20 a.m., Officers Ashley Feliciano, Samantha Cayer, Yashira Loyd and Samuel Rodriguez were conducting the check at 534 South Bridge Street when they observed two subjects in the area.
Officers saw Joshua Paulino-Torres concealing something in his hand, which he tried to put into his pocket.
The item was a bag containing dozens of vials of suspected cocaine and a bundle of 10 bags of heroin/fentanyl.
Officers also recovered additional cocaine, more than $500 in cash, suboxone and one bag of heroin/fentanyl from Paulino-Torres.
Officers then recovered two bags of heroin/fentanyl from Amber Rondeau.
Both suspects were placed under arrest.
Paulino-Torres, 36, of Holyoke is charged with possession with the intent to distribute a Class A drug, possession with the intent to distribute a Class B drug, and possession of a Class B drug.
Rondeau, 36, of Holyoke is charged with possession of a Class A drug as a subsequent offense.
