WORCESTER — Worcester Police Officers with the Neighborhood Response Team arrested a 47-year-old man on drug trafficking charges Monday evening.
At approximately 6:33 p.m. Sept. 9, officers observed a man on Main Street who was suspected to have warrants.
Upon confirming the warrants, officers approached the man.
While speaking with him, officers observed another man holding drugs and paraphernalia.
The second man, Joseph Baez of Worcester, was stopped and searched.
Crack cocaine was found on his person, along with a large amount of cash.
Baez was placed under arrest and charged with trafficking 18-36 grams of crack cocaine.
The other man was arrested for his outstanding warrants.
