PROVIDENCE — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Stephen P. Wehgbay, age 33, of 26 Coggeshall Street Apt. 3L, Providence, on Sept. 9.
Wehgbay was arrested on an affidavit/arrest warrant from the Providence Police Department for domestic assault.
He also faced a Providence County Superior Court bench warrant for AG Request Rule 9 for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance originating from the Rhode Island State Police HIDTA Unit.
A third Providence County Superior Court bench warrant charged him with failure to appear for presentment as a violator on an original charge of first-degree robbery originating from the Providence Police Department.
Wehgbay was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Providence Police Department.
