Bakersfield woman crashes into boulder on Boston Post Road

BAKERSFIELD — Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 7:21 a.m. Sept. 10 on Boston Post Road near Witchcat Road.

Samantha Pothier, 33, of Berkshire was driving a 2017 Toyota Highlander southbound when she exited the roadway and struck a boulder, police said.

Pothier was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to police.

She sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Northwestern Medical Center.

The vehicle sustained extreme front-end damage and was towed from the scene.

Weather conditions were clear with dry road conditions at the time of the crash.

The crash occurred in the area of 6610 Boston Post Road.
