CORTLANDVILLE — A 39-year-old woman was arrested Sept. 6 on charges of petit larceny at a local Walmart.
Shirley M. Roy of Union Street in Cortland was taken into custody at 4:50 p.m. after officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Walmart at 819 Bennie Road at approximately 4:21 p.m. for a report of larceny.
Officers determined that Roy stole merchandise from the store.
Roy was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear for arraignment in Town of Cortlandville Court on Sept. 22 at 1:00 p.m.
