HOLLAND — Police have charged two people with drug trafficking after seizing approximately 215 grams of suspected fentanyl and other drugs during a search warrant execution.
Nicholas J. Harrington, 31, and Sherry A. Robidoux, 33, both of 79 May Brook Road, were officially charged Monday with trafficking in fentanyl, conspiracy to violate drug laws, multiple charges of possession with intent to distribute a Class C and E substance, and possession of a Class B substance.
Harrington was also charged with possessing a firearm and ammunition without a license and improper storage of a firearm.
The search warrant was executed Saturday at 79 May Brook Road as part of an ongoing investigation with members of the Southern Worcester County Counter Crime and Drug Task Force.
Police seized the fentanyl packaged for distribution, eight bottles of suspected methadone, multiple prescription medication bottles and more than 500 unlabeled pills.
Officers also seized suspected cocaine, a .45 caliber firearm and 297 rounds of ammunition.
Police located over 450 bundles of fentanyl with an estimated street value of approximately $18,000.
Both Harrington and Robidoux are currently being held in custody on separate charges from the Southbridge Police Department.
The investigation involved officers from the Holland Police Department and task force members from the Drug Enforcement Agency, Auburn, Charlton, Dudley, East Brookfield, Southbridge and Webster police departments.
