Boston police seek suspect in Dorchester shooting

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in connection with a non-fatal shooting in Dorchester.

At about 4:24 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, officers assigned to District B-3 responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 326 Harvard Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers immediately rendered aid until the victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect is described as wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and possibly a helmet.

He was observed fleeing the scene on a scooter, traveling on Harvard Street toward Morton Street before continuing onto Walk Hill Street.

Detectives assigned to District B-3 are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
