West Warwick man arrested on suspended license charge

HOPE VALLEY — Troopers arrested Mizrrain J. Rojas, age 42, of 22 Rita Street, Floor 1, West Warwick, for driving with a suspended license – certain violations – first offense on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 10:03 a.m.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hay Street in the Town of West Warwick.

Rojas was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center where he was held as a bail violator.

At 10:15 p.m. Saturday, troopers arrested Samba Soumare, age 36, of 6522 Allman Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for importation or possession of counterfeit certificate, bill or note.

The arrest was the result of troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Route 95 and was subsequently located on New London Turnpike in the Town of Coventry.

Soumare was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court date.

At the same time, troopers arrested Jacob Momo, 35, of 6332 Regent Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on an extraditable affidavit/arrest warrant on the original charge of aggravated assault originating out of the Philadelphia Police Department.

Momo’s arrest was also the result of troopers responding to the motor vehicle accident on Route 95 that was subsequently located on New London Turnpike in the Town of Coventry.

Momo was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and held overnight as fugitive from justice.
