GOUVERNEUR — New York State Police arrested 26-year-old Rylie J. Law of Gouverneur on Sept. 4 for fourth-degree criminal mischief.
The arrest stemmed from a domestic dispute reported on Sept. 3 at approximately 2:55 p.m. on Island Branch Road in the town of Fowler.
An investigation revealed that Law and the victim had a verbal argument that escalated, leading Law to strike the victim’s vehicle, causing damage.
Law was taken into custody and transported to SP Gouverneur for processing.
He was arraigned in the Town of Gouverneur Court and released on his own recognizance.
