MEREDITH — Delaware County Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced Friday the arrest of a local man on charges stemming from a domestic dispute.
Deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute in Meredith on the evening of Aug. 26.
During an interview with the victim, deputies learned the victim had been involved in a domestic dispute at the residence.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies determined the physical domestic incident occurred in the presence of children and that the suspect allegedly closed a car door on the victim’s leg with the intent to cause injury.
Deputies arrested 32-year-old Troy Ladlee on one count of assault in the third degree, one count of menacing in the third degree and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, all class A misdemeanors under New York state penal law.
Ladlee was processed and brought to Central Arraignment Part Court where he was arraigned and released.
Ladlee was directed to appear in Meredith Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
