LYNDONVILLE — A 44-year-old Peacham man has been charged with first-degree aggravated domestic assault following an investigation by the Lyndonville Police Department.
David Beer was arrested after police received a complaint on Sept. 2 at 6:35 a.m. regarding an alleged assault on a family or household member.
The incident allegedly occurred on or about Aug. 17, according to police.
The victim sought treatment at Northern Vermont Regional Hospital following the alleged assault.
Officer Renaudette investigated the complaint and obtained an arrest warrant for Beer from the court on Sept. 3.
Beer turned himself in at the Caledonia County Courthouse on Sept. 4.
He is being held without bail at Northeast Regional Correctional Facility.
