2 Cortlandville Walmart employees arrested on theft charges

CORTLANDVILLE — Two Walmart employees were arrested Sept. 3 on charges of stealing from their workplace on multiple occasions, according to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.

Michael V. Reyna, 25, and Elizabeth D. Glover, 23, both of Clinton Avenue in the city of Cortland, were charged with petit larceny and conspiracy in the sixth degree, both misdemeanors.

Sheriff’s deputies responded Sept. 2 to the Walmart at 819 Bennie Road for a larceny investigation.

The investigation determined that Reyna stole from the store on four separate occasions while employed there.

Glover stole from the store on two separate occasions while working at the location.

Both suspects were located and arrested Sept. 3 at 1 p.m.

They were transported to the Public Safety Building for processing.

Both defendants were released on appearance tickets.

They are scheduled for arraignment in Town of Cortlandville Court on Sept. 15 at 1 p.m.
