DUNKIRK — Investigations into narcotics activity led to two search warrants executed on consecutive days, resulting in three arrests and significant drug seizures.
Narcotics investigators from the Dunkirk Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Police Department executed a search warrant at 500 Deer St. on Wednesday.
The Dunkirk Police SRT made entry into the residence where Luis A. Sanchez and Octivia Brown were present.
A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 28.7 grams of cocaine, scales and packaging material used for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $415 in U.S. currency.
Both Sanchez and Brown were charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
On Thursday, the same group of narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at 317 Lake Shore Dr. East with Dunkirk Police SRT making entry.
Johnny Torres was located at the residence.
Investigators seized 37.6 grams of crack cocaine, scales and packaging material used for the sale and distribution of narcotics and $1,014 in U.S. currency.
Torres was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
All suspects were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department to be arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court.
