POTSDAM — Members of the New York State Police arrested Courtney M. Cook, age 26, of Massena, for third-degree burglary on Sept. 2.
At approximately 7:21 p.m., troopers responded to a larceny complaint at Walmart, located on U.S. Highway 11 in the town of Potsdam.
An investigation revealed that Cook entered the store and stole merchandise valued at $29.94, bypassing all points of purchase without making any payment.
Further investigation showed that Cook had a prior arrest and was no longer allowed on Walmart premises.
Cook was arrested and transported to SP Canton for processing.
She was subsequently released on an appearance ticket, which is returnable to the Town of Potsdam Court for a later date in September.
