2 injured in Dorset crash on Vermont Route 30

DORSET — Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Vermont Route 30 and Morse Hill Road at 7:57 p.m. Sept. 4.

Daniel Silver, 66, was driving a Subaru Cross Track that sustained front-end damage.

Chelley Tifft, 48, was operating a motorcycle that sustained rear-end damage.

Both operators were wearing seat belts.

Tifft was injured in the crash and transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center.

Silver was not injured.

Both vehicles were removed from the scene and the roadway was reopened after a temporary closure.

The crash was investigated by troopers from the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury Barracks.
