ARLINGTON — Police Chief Julie Flaherty reports that the Arlington Police Department has concluded its investigation into a report that an 11-year-old child was approached on Tuesday evening by a suspicious vehicle.
Arlington Police Detectives have determined the report to be unfounded.
The department conducted a comprehensive investigation, which included interviews with the reporting party and multiple potential witnesses including residents and business owners in the area as well as a review of surveillance footage from multiple angles.
The investigation is now closed, as the department has determined that there is insufficient evidence to support further investigative action.
