MILFORD — A 37-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly providing false information on his pistol permit application.
Nicolas E. Martinez was charged Sept. 3 with offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest followed an investigation into paperwork submitted to the Otsego County Civil Office.
During a background investigation into Martinez’s pistol permit application, investigators discovered he intentionally failed to disclose sensitive information required by executive law.
Martinez was released with an appearance ticket returnable to Middlefield Town Court at a later date.
