GREECE — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who robbed a gas station at gunpoint Sunday night.
Officers responded to the Kwik Fill gas station at 2734 Dewey Avenue at approximately 9:19 p.m. Aug. 31 for a reported armed robbery.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black boots.
He entered the store armed with a hammer and engaged in a physical altercation with the store employee before fleeing.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes from the store.
He was last seen running from the store toward the 200 block of Bennington Drive.
Police have released surveillance video and still images of the suspect.
