Fleming man arrested on criminal mischief charge

FLEMING — A 46-year-old Fleming man was arrested on criminal mischief charges following a domestic incident last month.

Corey R. Foster was arrested at 11:42 p.m. on Aug. 27 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, according to Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck.

Deputies were dispatched to a physical domestic incident in Fleming at approximately 9:19 p.m. on Aug. 27.

Through investigation, authorities determined Foster was involved in an argument when he intentionally damaged the victim’s cell phone.

Foster was later located at a residence in the Town of Springport where he was arrested and brought to the Public Safety Building for processing.

He was turned over to Cayuga County Jail for CAP Court Arraignment on Aug. 28 at 7 a.m. and is scheduled to appear in Fleming Town Court at a later date.
