Auburn police arrest 3 in apartment robbery

AUBURN — Three men were arrested in connection with a home invasion robbery at Auburn Heights Apartments early Monday morning.

Auburn Police Department officers responded to the apartment complex at approximately 12:20 a.m. for a home invasion robbery investigation.

The victim told police that three suspects entered his residence and stole cash from him by force.

Two suspects were detained at the scene, but a third suspect fled before police arrived.

Michael Depew, 35, and Christopher Phillips, 39, were arrested and charged with robbery in the second degree and burglary in the second degree.

The third suspect, Trentyn Jackson, 27, was identified and located by patrol officers later that day.

Jackson was also arrested on charges of robbery in the second degree and burglary in the second degree.

All three suspects were processed and held at the Cayuga County Jail.
