HARTLAND — A 40-year-old Hartland man was arrested on an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop Monday night.
Deputy Kyle Goodrich of the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department stopped a vehicle on Route 5 at Route 12 at 9:15 p.m. Sept. 1 for a traffic violation.
During the stop, a passenger was identified as Matthew E. Thomas.
Thomas was found to have an active arrest warrant for failure to appear.
Thomas was taken into custody and transported to Southern State Correctional Facility.
He was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court in Windsor on Sept. 2 at 12:30 p.m.
