SOUTH WINDSOR — Police arrested nine people over a week-long period on charges ranging from larceny to domestic violence and drug offenses.
On Aug. 27 at 6:57 p.m., police arrested Leesa J. Grant, 33, of Manchester after she was identified as the suspect who stole $132.59 of merchandise from Target at 125 Buckland Hills Drive.
Grant was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 10 at 9 a.m.
On Aug. 29 at 8:39 a.m., police arrested Glendaliz Marquez-Nieves, 39, and Denisse Collazo, 46, both of Springfield, Massachusetts, on active arrest warrants.
Both suspects’ charges stem from an April larceny of $901.38 worth of merchandise from Old Navy at 101 Evergreen Way.
Marquez-Nieves and Collazo turned themselves in and were processed and released on $2,500 non-surety bonds.
They are scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 17 at 9 a.m.
On Aug. 29 at 2:12 p.m., police arrested Thomas L. Laudenslager, 35, of South Windsor on an active arrest warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.
Laudenslager’s charges stem from an August investigation by the Connecticut State Police’s Sex Offender Registry Unit which determined he failed to return and verify his address in the allotted time frame.
He was processed and released on a $2,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 17 at 9 a.m.
On Aug. 29 at 12:04 p.m., police arrested Pascious A. Mink, 34, of Enfield on an active arrest warrant for multiple drug and weapons charges.
Mink’s charges stem from a July narcotics investigation by the East Central Narcotics Task Force at Kenco Spirits at 17 Main Street, which resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of narcotics, cash and a firearm.
During the investigation, police established a connection between the illegal activity at Kenco and Mink’s Enfield residence.
A search warrant was executed at the residence and police found cash, cocaine, MDMA, oxycodone and a handgun, all in close proximity to where a child was staying.
Mink was processed and released on a $275,000 surety bond.
He appeared in Hartford Superior Court on Sept. 2.
On Aug. 30 at 8:25 p.m., police arrested Danielle A. Phelps, 37, of Marlborough on an active arrest warrant.
Phelps’ charge stems from an April investigation into the theft of a $439 welder from Lowe’s at 31 Buckland Hills Drive.
Phelps was taken into custody by Plainville Police Department and transferred to South Windsor police, where she was processed and released on a promise to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 17 at 9 a.m.
On Aug. 31 at 2:33 a.m., police arrested Herman Diaz, 31, of South Windsor after a domestic violence incident in which he grabbed the victim by her neck, slapped her in the face and told her he wanted to kill her.
Diaz was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
He appeared in Manchester Superior Court on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
On Sept. 2 at 6:25 a.m., police arrested Justin D. Jackson, 30, of Enfield after he violated two protective orders by having contact with the victim.
Jackson was processed and held on a $10,000 surety bond.
He appeared in Manchester Superior Court on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
On Sept. 2 at 1:45 p.m., police arrested Dillan R. Davignon, 30, of West Springfield, Massachusetts, on an active failure to appear arrest warrant.
