WEST GREENWICH — State police arrested two men in separate incidents on Route 95 during motor vehicle stops this week.
On Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 11:50 a.m., troopers arrested Brandon D. Edmonds, 34, of 1200 Woodycrest Ave., Apt. 4B, Bronx, New York, for receiving stolen goods under $1,500 on two counts.
The arrest occurred during a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North.
Edmonds was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and then taken to Third Division District Court for arraignment.
On Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 12:10 a.m., troopers arrested Ricardo J. Leys, 44, of 197 Riverside Avenue, Medford, Massachusetts, for obstruction of an officer.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 95.
Leys was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
He was released with a future Third Division District Court date.
